Creating Projects

The easiest way to create a project is to use the Project Wizard. The Wizard presents four different types of project (although in reality there is only one, called "Advanced") and you should select the one that best describes your needs.  
 
Basic  
A Basic project is the simplest way to use TetherPro and get images transfered to your PC. The only think you need to supply for a Basic Project is the folder you would like your images stored in. With a Basic project you have no control over where TetherPro stores its backup images (they will automatically be stored in a folder within your selected destination folder)  

Single Subject  
The Single Subject project is ideal if you are shooting just one subject but still want to be able to use ARM image management. In this mode TetherPro only uses the project's ARM rules.  

Multi Subject  
The Multi Subject project is essentially the same as the Single Subject but provides a number of groups. You should use one group per subject. In this mode TetherPro uses only the Groups' ARM rules.  

Advanced  
Advanced provides you access to all the settings within TetherPro. Group's ARM rules will be used and in their absence TetherPro will use the Project's  
 
You can access the Advanced settings of any project by selecting "File\Project Settings" or by clicking on the Project Icon movie_track
