Projects and Groups

TetherPro works on the concept of Projects and Groups.

movie_track A Project defines your photography session and stores all options, images and groups.

user A Group is a collection of images you want to be kept together and treated in the same way; for example, photographs of a model would be one group. A Group not only collects images together but also performs operations on them based on predefined Rules (see ARM Rules for more details)

Note: A Project may contain as many Groups as you require and the usage is best described by way of an example :-

Example

A school photographer needs to visit a school and take photographs of 3 classes. He sets the Project's name to that of the school, and creates three Groups, one for each Class. ie :-

Project name : Oxford High School
Group 1 : Mrs Henderson's Class
Group 2 : Mr Greenfield's Class
Group 3 : Mr Smith's Class

During the shoot the photographer simply clicks the student's corresponding Group before taking their photograph, thus grouping all students in the same class together.
