   Below is a list of best practices I believe should be followed to avoid damaging your camera: -

- Plug the camera's USB connector in to the PC before switching on the camera.

- Switch on the camera before loading ToneUp (or any interfacing software)

- Do not switch off or disconnect the camera while ToneUp (or any interfacing software) is running.

- Do not try to upload or download a curve from the camera while you are downloading images.
