Step 2 - Selecting one of the standard built-in curves

| A) Switch on the Camera
|

| B) Press the 'Menu' button
|
|
|
| C) Navigate to the top-level menu by repeatedly pressing the left button.
|
|
|
|
| D) Select "Shooting Menu" by pressing 'up' or 'down' and then 'right' to select it.
|
| E) Select "Optimize Image".
|
|
|
|
|
|
| F) Scroll down until you find "Custom" and select it.
|
|
|
|
|
|
| G) Scroll down to "Tone Comp." and select it
|
|
|
|
|
|
| H) This list shows all of the built-in curves. The names are :-
|
|
|
| Auto, Normal, Low contrast, Medium low, Medium high and High contrast.
|
| I) Scroll to the built-in curve you want to use and press 'right' to select it.
|
| J) Scroll to the "Done" option and select it.
|
| K) The camera is now using the built-in curve you selected.
